Luc Cool appointed as new CEO of AlterfinNEW LEADERSHIp, SAME MISSION

With our strong foundation built over the past three decades, we are now entering a new chapter. After ten years of dedicated leadership, Jean-Marc Debricon will be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) later this year. We warmly thank him for his invaluable contribution to strengthening Alterfin’s mission and global impact.

We are proud to announce that Luc Cool has been appointed as Alterfin’s new CEO . Luc has served on our Board of Directors since 2024 and brings a profound understanding of our cooperative values. With over 30 years of experience in banking and impact investing, he brings a broad range of expertise in strategic leadership, finance, operations, and risk management.

Luc will officially assume his new role in September 2025. Together with Jean-Marc and supported by our team and Board, a one-month handover will ensure a smooth and steady transition.

As we welcome this new chapter, our focus remains unchanged: building a fair and sustainable financial alternative that prioritizes people and the planet.
